Chistibung - 3000 meters
(Days 9 and 10)

Enroute to Chistibung from Saunta
Not an easy hike today. Hiked down to a waterfall at 2260 meters then straight back up to 3000 meters.
Lunch Menu: potato salad, cabbage, cheese pastry, fried onion puffs, canned mangos, hot Tang
Two different varieties of Stinging Nettle. The trail was lined with these.
Chistibung (pronounced as "sis-ti-boon")
It hailed at Chistibung. My side of the tent became flooded.
Raj traded his drier sleeping mat for my wet one.
Used Ed's Camelbak hydration system as a hot water bottle to keep warm.
Dinner Menu: prawn crackers, chicken broth, spaghetti, curried cabbage and potatoes,
green beans, buffalo meat, cake, hot chocolate
Breakfast Menu (next morning): porridge, buri (puff pastry), fried egg, coffee
